TASK: update prices in Google Ads adverts

What we did:

We developed a script that updates prices in Google Ads account hourly with reference to Google Sheets. Adverts are not exposed to remoderation. You can find more details in our blog article.
TASK: track the calls without use of call tracking. For large clients with big traffic its rather expensive

What others usually do:

Add the unique numerical code to each product card and consultants have to ask this code from the client during the call. 

 

What we did:

We get this data without phone number and item number input. 

How? It’s a secret‚ if you’re interested, we can implement it for you, too. 

TASK: up-to-date project situation tracking. The client needed daily reports with numerous data snapshots

What others usually do:

Create reports in Google Analytics and look up there if look at all. They sabotage daily reports or offer it as additional paid service. 

 

What we did:

Get the data through Google Analytics API and write it down in  Google Spreadsheet (updated hourly), that allows the client to have up-to-date understanding what results their project currently shows. 

In addition, we’ve developed a Telegram bot that sends KPI statistics for previous day every morning. 

TASK: to help the SMM manager add UTM marks on Instagram when mobile device is used for communication

What we did:

We’ve developed Telegram chat bot automatically adds to every link the UTM parameters for Facebook Messenger and Instagram, addresses through API to bit.ly to shorten the links and sends back 2 short links with UTM parameters. 

TASK: to replenish Google Ads accounts in advance. The client has more than 20 accounts with different expenditure rates. Google Ads tends to show incorrect balance sometimes

What others usually do:

Withdraw the leftovers manually, fill in the chart and transfer to bookkeeping department. 

 

What we did:

Developed a script that is more precise in leftover counting than Google Ads data shows. It fills in the table automatically and forecasts the expenses. The script also sends the notification to email when the balance is enough less than for 3 days. 

 

TASK: to find irrelevant keywords among 30 mln keys and do this kind of optimization on the regular basis

What others usually do:

They say it’s not possible in such amount. As an option, they can check part of the keywords. They manually check the relevance in search results and switch off those options that don’t fit. It takes enormous time. 

 

What we did:

We wrote 2 scripts. The first parses search results for each keyword, while the second one defines relevant keywords according to the necessary theme and uploads them Google Ads (AdWords) account. 

TASK: to translate the whole Yandex Direct account to Ukrainian language. The complicated part is that the account has 2000 campaigns and 1 million keywords

What others usually do:

Manually translate 400 requests at a time. It takes about 100 hours or 3 business weeks of uninterrupted mundane work and one fired employee. 

 

What we did:

We developed a macros that connects with Yandex Translator API and translated 200k keywords in 5 minutes. It was in 2015 🙂 Of course, now we would find even more optimal implementation with the upload to the account.
